Dragon Q Energy, Spitzer Lighting and Sixteen5hundred to attend Light! Design Expo at Pier 27 in San Francisco on June 12th

On the heels of their new strategic partnership announcement, Dragon Q Energy, Spitzer Lighting, and Sixteen5hundred are headed to San Francisco for this year’s Light! Design Expo, taking place on June 12th at Pier 27 in San Francisco. The group will exhibit their new solar and battery-enabled commercial and street lighting solution at Booth #86, giving attendees a firsthand look at how advanced energy storage and architectural lighting are being combined for grid-independent infrastructure. 

The Light! Design Expo, hosted by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) San Francisco Section, is the West Coast’s leading event dedicated to architectural and commercial lighting innovation. With over 100 exhibitors and more than 1,800 attendees in previous years, the  Expo brings together top architects, engineers, specifiers, lighting designers, contractors, and sustainability leaders for an evening of networking, education, and product discovery—all along the iconic San Francisco waterfront. 

At Booth #86, Dragon Q Energy and Spitzer Lighting will be debuting their newly launched solar & battery lighting system—a fully integrated, off-grid-capable solution featuring Spitzer’s modern luminaires paired with Dragon Q Energy's robust, safe, and efficient buried battery platform. Designed for public spaces, campuses, and mixed-use developments, the system delivers energy autonomy, aesthetic appeal, and real-world resilience. It is also engineered to drastically reduce installation complexity and eliminate the need for trenching or electrical permits—making it ideal for municipalities and developers facing infrastructure delays or grid limitations.
